A "born to lose" kind of guy, reminiscing about past love and the highs and lows that come with it. We have another new single, out now, and it's called "Wash Away".
The writing for this one started in early July of 2021, although we have two much older versions with the same lyrics, but vastly different music: one from May of 2015, and another from May of 2014. Chris clearly kept the lyrics for this one in his back pocket, no doubt hoping one day we might actually write some serious music around them with the intent to release it, and lo, that day has come.
Musically, it's primarily driven by the acoustic guitar, with some clean electric and keys thrown in for good measure. Some wispy, haunting background vocals fill out the harmony during the chorus, and the mood-swing bridge breaks out the distortion.
