Sometimes you wish you could go back in time to when things were more simple and carefree, when you felt like the whole world was laid out in front of you for the taking. We have another new single, out now, and it's called "1989".
The writing for this one started around mid-December of 2021. The song has shout-outs to favorite Chicago area clubs we played at back in the day (whether we were in the same band or not), as well as favorite radio stations. If you check out the video, you'll get a chance to see us not taking ourselves too seriously with a kitschy opening where “Dr. Flopinstop” helps the boys go back in time, using an elixir of questionable authenticity.
The track is hard-rock through and through, with an 80's vibe to it. The break in the middle is where we do the shout-outs, and the song ends with a fade out in a slow half-time jam that almost feels like another song.
